How does it work?
- It is based on Australian Nursing and Midwifery Competencies (ANMC).
- The total duration of the IRON program is 480 hours, and no more.
- The first 160 hours help to understand the responsibilities of a nurse and midwives in Australian healthcare
- The Clinical Placement is taken up at an approved and accredited healthcare facility.
Once you get successfully assessed in theory and clinical skills, you move on to Supervised Clinical Placement.
Entry Requirements
- A letter of referral from the AHPRA to study IRON Program in the country.
- IELTS score of a minimum 7.0 in each section, or PTE score of at least 65 overall, or Occupational English Test (OET) score of at least B in each component.
- Evidence of sufficient funds and the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
